From here you find two example stories from Burning Man 2019 for discussion and more surely coming as we transcribe more! The unfortunate happened and Cubes got stolen in the middle of the BRC week…the project is without any funding and we have three cubes left but hopefully, we manage to build more in the future!
We still have some data, so what do you think about the below? Feel free to share thoughts about what this brings and also feel free to get creative with the data. Here you can find a few more stories we transcribed.

S1: Hello this is NN and I’m gonna share you one story. So today is Wednesday night to Thursday so the time kind of vanishes in (-), in the burn and it was yesterday I was with our hedgehogs on part of the camp seal-hedgehog art(-) team and then went out to, for the first time for a ceremonial start of this beautiful creature going on a (-) and then I had another break but I was kind of part of the team to kind of move around the car and then we stopped by the man and I was like, okay, so this is the perfect time to go and adventure the man. So, at one point I was like, okay now is the moment so I went after the, that people do here and then I went under the man and I was, so funny I went in the same time YY also went there so we had like kind of like mutual going and then but we didn’t kind of talk, we just had an eye contact and then we moved on and then we stopped because we wanted or YY suggested we should enter from the main entrance of the man and then we entered from there and then I lost YY for an hour, she’s back already but from that moment and then I was like questioning myself with a different topics and then at one point I caught (-) and standing watching these man and I was walking around looking from there and there and very nearby, and then I went to the back side of the or like side walk where there is some big seats for lot of people and then I went up there and then I could see the full size of it, not just under and then I was like, okay somehow I contact with a man, so we were kind of like in a talk like a man and his ego, woman with her ego and then we had like this very interesting discussion and I was like okay, I’m just trying to visualise it again to share this precious story a moment, transformative moments. And then one point I got a click and the click said that your mission is to enlighten people and burning man is just like, it’s not like a religion but it’s like, kind of like religion but in the same time it’s a sign of this culture and this values and from my perspective, I am who I am but my mission is to enlighten people with a knowledge I have and with the experiences I have had and to do whatever I have in every cell that needs to be shared and that’s what I got to do and I’ve thought about it before but this was a very transformative moment as I didn’t (-) a mission I’m on right now or in this life and then I got this hooked by this-

S1: Guys, this is literally like far from home that you can be, what is this button? You have opened one of the magical cubes going around the black rock city, it loves to hear stories for scientific and community building purposes, especially your story, reflect for a moment to consider all the experiences you went or are currently going through, this year or any of the previous burns you attended. What is the story that somehow really mattered to you, what is the transformational story you would like to share. We scientists wish to hear them. How to share your story? Open the front cover, press the button to record, when the light is on the cube is recording. Ohh, it’s hearing me talk all of this out loud. Around 20-30 centimetres from this microphone is a perfect distance to record.
S2: I bet they have about a-
S1: Press button again to stop recording. Thank you, have a blast at burning man. Keep yourself and others and the cube safe. PS, if you think the cube got enough adventures, feel free to drop it to the senses next to the centre camp for a break. Also if the light inside does not function or it’s Saturday or Sunday, kindly return the cube for repairing. Thank you. I don’t wanna touch it. I’m like super scared to touch it.

S: There’s (-) [00:01] I want to (sing) this project for – [audio cuts] to talk to, and it’s nice to have an – [audio cuts] so one of the biggest stories that put an impact, my first Burning Man last year – I had a very, yeah, let’s say a lonely [audio cuts] Burn for myself. I was going through lots in the past, and I was (diagnosed) [audio cuts] – so I went to the Cancer Walk project, and they were (-) it at the Burning Man. So I – [audio cuts] really with the people, I was just really by myself, so you start – [audio cuts] Man to the Temple, and during the – [audio cuts] at the whole Burning Man time, and everyone’s type of walking, and – [audio cuts] we had a really, really small Burn, it is called – [audio cuts] and it was due to us actually making the effigy – [audio cuts] the Cancer Walk at Burning Man. So – [audio cuts] literally standing next to each other, saw into each other’s eyes, and we both – [audio cuts] story, I had a story, and it was so – [audio cuts] sharing because seeing someone in the desert at one out of – [audio cuts] with a Burn of 200 people, and then you share such a moment that was so intense – [audio cuts] moments why I’m Burning. Thanks.
